Small sized skip hire

A 4 cubic yard midi skip is just that little bit bigger for those jobs that require a slightly larger skip. They are 0.97 metres (3’2″) tall have a length of 1.83 metres (6′) and are 1.29 metres (4′ 3″) in width.

If you property is big enough for a skip then this could be a good option for you to consider if you have rubbish to get rid of.

This sized skip will hold an average or around 30-40 black bags of waste to give you an idea of size. They are great for refit waste, where maybe you are having a bathroom or a kitchen refitted. They can also be ideal if you are moving and want to get rid of things you have had stored in a loft or shed.

If you are having your home renovated this sized skip will not be big enough and they are not really big enough for bulky types of waste as it would fill up too quickly.  You can read about our description of what skip would suit you best in the other blogs on our site.

Skip Lorries require a minimum of 10ft (3.3metres) width to be able to gain access to the skip to drop it off and remove it at the end of the job. This size for access applies regardless of the size skip you have ordered for your property.  If you don’t think you have enough room it will pay to mention this before you go ahead with the skip hire, otherwise you could be paying for something you do not have!

The sizes given are approximate and may vary dependent on supplier, but this will give you a good idea of what you can expect if you were to hire a skip to remove your unwanted goods and rubbish.

You can always contact us and we can take care of all your rubbish removal needs without you having to worry about hiring a skip!
