Fly tipping refers to illegal deposition of waste on a land which does not have an authorized license for such usage. All forms of waste must be deposited at officially authorized sites. Any people committing or supporting such offences are liable to imprisonment or fines as designated by legal authorities. Fly tipping comes under the scanner of law as it imposes threat to public as well as environment. The waste disposal may contain toxic materials, metals, chemicals and other substances which give rise to contamination of multiple life sources like air and soil. It disturbs the whole ecosystem which imbalances the routine flow of many environmental producers. Besides environment, it can also reduce the value of property in a respective area.

London recycling is gearing up for a better tomorrow as people understand the difference from waste to resource management. Although percentage of recycling is increasing every year but considering the figures that London recycles only 20 % of its rubbish puts a continous challenge for citizens. Due to high costs for land filling, increasing population, environment issues and utilizing resources it’s an absolute need to revamp the current infrastructure and solutions for recycling. Not just hi-tech recycling centers but new legislation and increased public awareness of recycling should be put into practice to cope up the growing issues.
