As like most of the Country, The All Clear Company and its staff have been gripped by this year’s X factor once again.
As it is now the final week it’s time to decide where our loyalties lie. Our favorite was Jedwood, purely for their comical presence. Where other waste companies ran ad campaigns to get rid of them as rubbish we could always see their recycle potential and would donate them to Butlins. But now the Irish twins are gone this year The All Clear Company are backing Dagenham Stacy.
Stacey, Joe and Olly will battle it out for the 2009 X factor crown this Saturday and The All Clear Company will be watching.

Have you ever tried to apply for a skip permit???
I ran an experiment today and the results were shocking to say the least.
I sat down as someone with a good knowledge of the waste industry, and the problems I came across baffled even me...
I spent lengthy periods of time on the phone trying to find the right department as most councils do not have a dedicated line for skip hire permits.
Once finally put though to the relevant department I was met by high prices and poor explanations. Most councils have a 3 day application period, so I was unable to get my waste collected until they were ready, GREAT.

As of the 1st January 2002 all Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) including CFC’s, must be removed from refrigeration equipment before recycling. This includes the ODS within the cooling system and the insulating foam inside the walls and doors.
Most manufacturers stopped using CFCs in 1994, but the alternative proved to be similarly environmentally damaging HCFCs for several years after. The average lifespan of a domestic fridge is ten to fifteen years which means that even today, most fridges being disposed of contain at least one kind of ODS.

Fly tipping refers to illegal deposition of waste on a land which does not have an authorized license for such usage. All forms of waste must be deposited at officially authorized sites. Any people committing or supporting such offences are liable to imprisonment or fines as designated by legal authorities. Fly tipping comes under the scanner of law as it imposes threat to public as well as environment. The waste disposal may contain toxic materials, metals, chemicals and other substances which give rise to contamination of multiple life sources like air and soil. It disturbs the whole ecosystem which imbalances the routine flow of many environmental producers. Besides environment, it can also reduce the value of property in a respective area.
